Requirements January 1975 until August 1982
1. Take a clear set of prints. Use both rolled and plain impressions. Make these on an 8-by-8-inch personal identification fingerprint card.
2. Do the following:
(a) Name the surfaces of the body where friction or papillary ridges are found.
(b) Explain why plain impressions must be taken on a card.
3. Show you can identify the eight types. Collect six of these.
4. Give a short history of fingerprinting. Tell the difference between civil and criminal identification. Point out the purposes of each.
5. Take the prints of one person. Have the prints and descriptions accepted for the civil identification file.
