3. State the qualities of hard wood and soft wood, and the best woods to use in woodcarving; name, describe, and explain how to sharpen the different kinds of woodcarving tools, including knife and axe, and explain methods of handling the grain of the wood in designing and carving.

3. State the qualities of hardwood and softwood and the best woods to use in woodcarving; name, describe, and explain how to sharpen the different kinds of woodcarving tools, including knife and axe, and explain methods of handling the grain of the wood in designing and carving.
