Requirements June 1972 until September 1995
1. Tell about the management of dairy cattle.
2. Milk a cow.
3. Tell about pasteurization of milk. Tell need for care of dairy utensils and appliances.
4. Test the milk of five cows (individually) for 10 days each with a test approved by your local health authorities. Make reports.
This merit badge may be earned as a 4-H'er by completing a club project in that subject or as an FFA member by meeting these requirements through the FFA supervised farming program.
