5. Make a metal object from a plan or blueprint using a machine lathe and a drill press.

6. Visit a machine shop, trade school or factor; note the benchwork, power equipment, machine tools, and safety devices to protect workers; take notes and describe your visit. or If no such shop is available, submit a chart or outline showing at least five mechanical occupations and listing the work and training required for each.
