(a) House and care for two pair of pigeons for 3 months.

(b) Keep a record of cost of birds, feed, equipment, and other things. Record income received from sale of squabs or birds for this same time.

(c) Keep records of eggs laid, squabs hatched, sickness, and deaths for this same time.

2. Take a picture or make a drawing of your loft and flypen.

3. List the four main requirements for successful pigeon raising.

4. If you live in city or town, give its laws about keeping pigeons.

5. Describe two breeds of utility pigeons used for squabbing. Describe two fancy breeds used for exhibiting. Describe two breeds used for flying (racing or high flying).

6. Do ONE of the following:

(a) Pick, dress, and cook one squab you raised. Visit a squab farm. Write a 300-word report on it.

(b) Enter one pigeon you own in a pigeon show. Visit a show. Write a 300-word report on it.

(c) Enter one pigeon you own in a pigeon race. Visit a racing loft or racing club meeting. Write a three hundred word report on it.
